I rise today to share some good news about post-secondary graduates throughout the province. The recently completed Saskatchewan Graduate Outcomes Survey illustrates that post-secondary education continues to lead to positive outcomes for students. Not only do a majority of students see significant benefits from their programs, they are also staying right here in this province. More than 90% of respondents say that they are satisfied with the quality of their educational experience. The survey also indicated that 85% of 2014 graduates are employed, with two thirds working in jobs related to their program of study. And their salaries have increased faster than the rate of inflation. I am proud of our government’s record when it comes to post-secondary education and doing right by our ...

Here's some of the key ways the 2017-18 provincial budget will affect Saskatchewan residents.
After the Alberta government announced it would introduce legislation allowing it to restrict oil exports to British Columbia due to the government’s opposition to the TransMountain pipeline project, Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe said he intends to do the same. In the latest episode of In Session, Dave Fraser and Murray Mandryk discuss what the implications would be for such a decision.

Welcome to Saskatchewan! Often known as an incredibly flat province, nothing could be further from the truth. With lush boreal forests and pristine lakes in the North to prairie landscapes and badlands in the South, Saskatchewan is the perfect place for outdoor lovers to explore. We drove a pontoon boat around Lake Waskesiu, learned about the province's first nations at Wanuskewin Heritage Centre, and went for a float in Canada's version of the dead sea. We also toured the RCMP Heritage Centre, witnessed the RCMP sunset ceremony, climbed a massive sand dune, and hiked through one of the few remaining natural grasslands in North America. We packed a lot of adventures into our short visit and can't wait to return one day and explore the province further. We explored Saskatchewan from July...

Fort Walsh is a historic Canadian site, located in Saskatchewan's Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park. Originally built as a Northwest Mounted Police fort, it was constructed by inspector James Morrow Walsh and thirty men of the B Troop in June 1875. Today, Fort Walsh is open to the public and serves as a popular tourist destination. Join acting site manager, Royce Petty John, on a tour of the facilities and activities -- which include guides in period costume, interactive interpretative programming, a cook tent and even a military drill reenactment.
